Building Fundamentals

This block is getting your body adapted to this style of training. We are focusing on building a nice foundational sense of technique and begin to ramp up intensity on the tail end of the block as we get more comfortable with the movements.

We build on the fundamentals that we created last block and put them into play on this one. Let the PR's roll in!

Block 2

Take back what's yours! Within this programming you will build a better physique while also enjoying the heavy compounds. You start the week with an SBD day and the rest of the week is full of hypertrophy movements to take your physique to the next level. Recommended Training Split: W1 Monday, W2 Tuesday, Rest Wednesday, W3 Thursday, W4 Friday, W5 Saturday, Rest Sunday.

Block 3

Want a big Bench? Well, you're at the right place! This program is geared towards improving bench technique and applying the appropriate training stimulus to help you break that plateau. Whether you are getting stuck at lockout, off the chest, midway up or it just feel awful right now, this program is designed to hit all of those areas to help you soar past that plateau. Enjoy!

8 Week Bench Only

This block is going to target all areas of your bench to help improve not only your overall strength but your technique in the process.

All Percentage based training for compounds. Nothing fancy just work. This program is for my lifters who aren't a fan of RPE based training and just want to know what weight to hit and put in the work. If you look forward to a program that will hold you accountable, then this is the one for you. Recommended Training Split: W1 Monday, W2 Tuesday, Rest Wednesday, W3 Thursday, W4 Friday, W5 Saturday, Rest Sunday

Bare Bones (Powerlifting)

Lets get to work! This block is designed to ramp up your confidence, technique and strength for a big end to the block. Start slow and dial in your technique you'll need it later in the block. Frequency: Squat 2x, Bench 2x and Deadlift 2x per week.

Take these sessions light and let your body recover. Get plenty of sleep and make sure to hit your macros. We are starting up full swing next week. This week is needed to ensure your body is ready to perform maximally again.

Deload Week

We are gaining momentum from our deload week and ramping up intensity to end this block with some new 1 Rep Maxes. Good Luck!

Test Maxes

This Powerbuilding program will have you feeling stronger than ever and looking jacked as ever. With a Push, Pull, Legs training split we are allowing the body to make a full recovery before targeting that muscle group again. This program is designed in a 5 day split routine with 3 days on followed by a rest day, 2 days on and ending with another rest day before repeating. No fancy equipment required. As long as you go to a full gym you are good to go. Hope you enjoy!

"Retribution" Powerbuilding 1.0

This block we are building starting off light with our compounds to end on a high not towards the end of the block. Feel free to push accessories within the RPE range given and let the Gains begin.

Block 3 (Test Max)

This program will make your sumo deadlift proficient and is designed to build overall strength in the deadlift. You will still Squat and Bench but keep in mind that those will be put on the back burner in order to manage your fatigue properly. If your sumo deadlift is lacking or you just want to become more efficient at it and you don't mind your squat/ bench taking a back seat then this is the program for you.

This program is designed the way John likes to train. As a very technical lifter, John prides himself on mastering each lift while also having fun with new variations. This training style is the style that molded John into the lifter he is today. Expect a lot of technique work with a few fun variations in there too. Recommended Split: W1 Monday, Rest Tuesday, W2 Wednesday, Rest Thursday, W3 Friday, W4 Saturday, Rest Sunday.

Welcome to John's Pick. This first block is full of John's favorite variations and movements to increase technical efficiently and build excitement for the later weeks. Enjoy the process and let the gains begin. 

This second block will build on the technical work that was applied last block and use them for competition style lifts for this block. Test maxes on week 5 (Monday Squat, Tuesday Bench, Thursday Deadlift)

Ahhh the beloved "Bro Split" has stood the test of time. We've all done it and we've all loved it. This is my Bro Split with my special flavor added to it. This Program is designed to get you stronger on the squat, bench, and deadlift while also adding mass. It's going to work... "trust me bro". Recommended Split: W1 Monday, W2 Tuesday, W3 Wednesday, Rest Thursday, W4 Friday, W5 Saturday, Rest Sunday.

Push/Pull/Legs

This block can be run back to back. Bench can be a frustrating lift as a number of factors can be holding you back from progressing. This program will challenge your bench in new ways and help you improve on all aspects of the movement. Recommended Training Split: W1 Monday, W2 Tuesday, Rest Wednesday, W3 Thursday, Rest Friday, W4 Saturday.

This Block can be ran as many times as necessary. Preferably twice before attempting to max again.

If you aren't interested in building your squat or an injury is preventing you from squatting at the moment then this is the program for you. This program is designed to strengthen the bench and deadlift as well as the muscle groups that support those lifts. Your bench and deadlift  will be challenged in all kinds of new ways that your body will have no choice  but to adapt and grow! Hope you enjoy.
